La Biennale di Venezia//Venice Biennale

I was in Venice last week and got to see some of the work featured in the annual Biennale. My favourite was “The Future of a Promise”, hidden just around the corner from the church of Santa Maria della Salute, a Pan-Arab exhibition of contemporary art, bringing together some of the foremost artists from the Arab world. Artists presented are from Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Morocco, Palestine, Jordan and Iraq.
